An independent football game
Throwback XI provides a recreational football draft, guessing puzzles and original commentary. It is not affiliated with any club or league. Player and club names identify the subjects being discussed. Our ratings and tactical opinions are subjective; simulated outcomes are not statements about real match results.
Play fairly and respect other people
Use league nicknames and shared links responsibly. Do not impersonate someone, publish private recovery codes, harass other players, automate abusive requests or attempt to bypass result verification. We may remove abusive league content or restrict misuse to protect the service. Keep a copy of anything you need before deleting your league identity.
Records, availability and changes
Local records depend on your device and browser storage. We cannot promise recovery after storage is cleared or a recovery code is lost. Features, player entries and editorial content may be corrected or updated, and the service may be temporarily unavailable. Read the Privacy page for the distinction between local progress and server-side league data.
Sharing and editorial content
You may use the game’s sharing tools to share your own results and challenge friends. Do not present an edited result as an official verified league score. The stories are original editorial work with links to historical sources; follow those links for the underlying records. A game tip is an opinion, not a promised result.
