How to play
Learn Daily and Free Play drafting, Guess the Legend, Legend Streak and the rules for competing in friend leagues.
Daily: one shared pack
The Daily resets at 00:00 UTC, not at local midnight. Everyone gets the same club-and-era draw sequence for that date. Choose one of four formations before drafting; it stays locked for that game. Fill eleven positions, choosing one player per round. You have one skip, so the sequence provides twelve draws for eleven picks. A completed Daily opens its saved result instead of starting another attempt.
Player ratings are hidden while drafting. Tap a player to place him in his best open natural position, with primary positions preferred. For a short moment, Change lets you choose another slot and Next confirms immediately. If no natural position is free, choose a slot yourself. The same person cannot appear twice, even at another club or in another decade. Out-of-position choices reduce the rating applied to your team.
Free Play: test another idea
Free Play uses the same draft and 38-match season rules without the once-a-day limit. Start a fresh draw, change your formation between games and see whether a more balanced eleven outperforms a collection of famous forwards. A draw is random: reading a story about a club does not guarantee that club will appear next.
After the season, the album reveals individual ratings, position fit and line scores. The result explains what your choices built, rather than predicting a real historical match. Free Play results can become challenge links: a friend gets the same draw order, chooses their own formation and tries to beat your points, then wins, then team rating. Your lineup stays hidden until they finish.
Guess the Legend: follow the clubs
This is a separate daily football puzzle. Read a retired player’s sequence of senior clubs and identify the legend. Easy mode gives four names and two attempts; after the first incorrect answer, a nationality clue helps. Hard mode allows six typed guesses, with additional clues revealed after misses. Choose the difficulty before your first attempt; it is locked once you start.
A new puzzle arrives at 00:00 UTC. Your guesses and results stay on your device, separately from the draft. The /career and /legend addresses open the same mode and preserve the same records. Club names are clues about a career, not instructions to draft a player or a list of every youth team.
Legend Streak: keep the run alive
Legend Streak is the unlimited guessing mode. Choose between four names using club-and-decade clues and a position hint; some single-club puzzles also show nationality. Decades describe the player’s eras, not exact transfer dates. Each correct answer adds one to the run. One wrong answer ends it and reveals who you missed.
You can return to a saved run on the same browser. The available puzzle pool is fixed when the run starts; current and future Daily guessing answers are excluded to avoid spoilers. Your best streak is stored locally. A streak is a personal challenge, not a Daily draft result and not a submission to a friend league.
Friend leagues: compare the same Daily
Create a league, choose a nickname and share its invitation link. Joining does not require an email account. Play the ordinary Daily; the server replays the submitted draft actions and verifies the result before adding it to your leagues. Free Play, challenge games and guessing puzzles do not count toward Daily league standings.
Today ranks verified results by points, then wins, then team rating (RTG). This week uses the totals for the UTC week, including the sum of daily team ratings. RTG is rounded to the same one decimal place shown in the table; if all comparison values match, the rank is shared. Other lineups for a date remain hidden until your own result is verified. Keep your private recovery code safe if you want to move your league identity to another device.
Reading the final album
A win earns three points, a draw one, a loss none. The season title is based on wins: 35–37 Legends, 31–34 Champions, 26–30 Top Four, 20–25 Mid-table, 12–19 Relegation Battle and 0–11 Relegated. Winning all 38 matches earns Perfect Season. An undefeated season with draws receives an UNBEATEN badge alongside its title.
Tap a revealed sticker to inspect the top alternatives who naturally fit that slot in its original draw. The comparison excludes players already selected at that time. A green fit means a primary or possible position; yellow means an adjacent position and red means another position. Shared Daily images conceal player names, so friends can open them without seeing your picks.
